Electrical Engineering Intern

Currently we are seekingan Electrical Engineering Intern to become a part of the HIROTEC Team.

The ideal candidate will hold the position of an Electrical Engineering Intern and will be responsible for learning to design and commission the electrical hardware and software systems for machine controls with pneumatic and hydraulic components.

The individual will gain expertise on equipment such as: resistance welders, robots, sealant equipment, cure equipment, conveyors, presses, inspection, vision, programmable controllers, HMI based operator interface screens, etc.

The individual will be trained on PLC programming languages, operator interface programming languages, and basic robot programming. They will work closely with mechanical engineers on the mechanical machine tool design.

The position requirements include working towards a Bachelor’s degree from a university with major emphasis in Electrical Engineering. Previous work experience preferred. Knowledge of Automotive industry, computer skills—Microsoft Office Products, technical aptitude with problem solving skills. Exceptional interpersonal/ communication skills, and must possess strong organizational skills, teamwork and leadership skills. Ability to travel for service and installation, both nationally and internationally.
